DOUBLE TRAGEDY
MAN AND WOMAN POISONED

Received Sept. 30, 11.50 a.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 30. At the inquest in ' connection with the death of James Thomas Taylor and Florence Hall, at Newcastle, the coroner returned a verdict that death in e*acli instance was due to poisoning administered by Taylor.
[A previous message stated: —“The bodies of a man and woman were found Iving dead in a house at Newcastle. On the dressing .table near by stood a bottle of poison, which apparently had been recently used. It is believed that this accounts for the man’s death, but the cause of the woman’s death has not yet been ascertained. The police are reticent and refused to give information to the press other than the names of the deceased, which are James Taylor and Florence Hall. A search of the room revealed a note written by Taylor, wherein he expressed his intention of taking Hall’s life and his own.”]
