(Received Sept. 30, 10.45 a.m.) BRISBANE, Sept. 30. Meagre details are to hand of a stabbing affray at Banvas, near Innisfail, resulting in the death of a man named Roy Moore. It is alleged that Moore became engaged in an altercation with a Maltese, whose name is at present not known, and that the latter stabbed Moore in the chest.

A Maltese has been arrested and charged with the murder.
