PUBLICITY CAMPAIGN.
QUESTION IN THE HOUSE. (3Y TELEGRAPH-—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 29. In the House to-night the Premier read a cablegram from the High Commissioner on the subject of New Zealand publicity in Britain. Sir James Allen outlined the steps being taken to keep New Zealand before the public per medium of lantern slides, lectures and films, and he did not consider that the cost was in excess of the service rendered.
In reply to the Leader of the Opposition (Mr. T. M. Wilford), Mr. Massey said he was not altogether enamoured of the present position of the High Commissioner’s office. It is in the Strand—a busy street, it was true, hut; it was on the level of the street and was not conspicuous. He- regretted that they had not been able to get a corner section, where a more attractive display could be made. However, be was satisfied that the High Commissioner and his staff were making the most of the position.
