To-night in the Manaia Town Hall the committee of the sports queen are holding a euchre party. There will be good prizes for ladies and gentlemen, and a good supper. A good attendance is expected. There is to be a euchre party and dance in the Kapuni Hall in aid of Manaia town carnival queen on Wednesday night. Good prizes are offered to the winners. A waltzing competition will also be held. Good supper will be provided. There should be a good attendance. The official result of the baby show held at the gymkhana at Manaia last Wednesday was as follows: Babies under six months—Mrs Mimia Apai’s girl 1. Under 12 months—Mrs James Meade’s baby girl 1, Mrs Jones’ baby girl 2. Under 18 months—Mrs (Captain) Melville’s girl 1, Mrs W. Cunningham’s girl 2, Mrs T. McVinnie’s boy 1.
