PARK CLUB. A committee meeting of the Park j OJub was held in the Soldiers’ Club on Thursday evening. . Mr. Kururangi was in the chair and ten members were present. A It was decided that the club should open its season on .October 15 to take ' the form of a. Yankee tournament. Messrs. Kururangi and Sage were appointed a grounds committee. Messrs. Kururangi, Rudge and Miss Nairn were appointed handicappers for the seasou. New members elected were: Misses Lyall, Kisenberg, Roach. Rosewarn© and Mrs. Lester, Messrs. Lester, .Ellis, L. Walker, C. Hoddinott, Manning, Ebbett. Crutch. Martin, Reece, Hannah and Horsburgh. A hearty vote of thanks to the Soldiers’ Club committee for use of their room was passed; also a vote of thanks to the chairman.
