SYDNEY, Sept. 25. All the c-oal miners in the State were idle yesterday for the purpose of holding aggregate meetings to consider a direction frorii the Miners’ Federation Central Council that- work be resumed at all idle collieries to permit the coal industry speieal tribunal to proceed with the bearing of the claims of the union in terms of the direction of the chairman of the tribunal. Information received from' various centres shows that the organisation is very divided' upon the question -of ’accepting the conditions laid down by the ; chairman, and- until complete returns from all the meetings are received it cannot be said what action will be taken. —Aus.-N.Z.
