NOTICE OF NEW BILLS.

(BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.; W ELLINGTON, Sept. 24. The House of Kepresentatives met at, 2.30 p.m. to-day. Notice was given of. intention to introduce the following Bills on next sitting day: Footwear Begulation Amendment Bill, Scaffolding Inspection Amendment Bill (Hon. G. J. Anderson), and the Dairy Industry Amendment Bill (Hon. W. Nosworthy). The House rose at 12.15 a.m. till 2.30 p.m. LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. PBOGBESS OF BILLS. The Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m. to-day. Three days’ leave of absence was granted to the Hon. Sir James Carroll on account of illness. The Land Bill was read a first time and a second time pro forma. The Local Bodies Loans Amendment Bill and the Police Offences Amendment Bill were each read a first time.
