BY CABLE—PBESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT Received Sent. 24, 9.45 a.m SYDNEY, Sept/. 24. In the Assembly a. censure motion by Mr Lang was defeated by 50 to 35. Mir Lang was taken to task by a Xabour caucus for having launched a censure motion against the Government without first consulting or confiding in the party, A prominent member stated afterwards that Mr Lang should not be judged by party, but by the speech he delivered in the House. If, in the opinion ofVthe' majority of the members of the caucus, he is proved to have failed to put forward substantial charges against the Government and ■evidence in support thereof steps will be taken immediately to seek a new leader. —Aus.-N.Z.
