suicide by Married man. (by TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) GISBORNE, Sept. 22. A plumber named Charles Edward Oldirig, agecl 52, married, was found dead in his workshop. Deceased did not return home last night, and a search made this morning resulted in his body being found under an upturned tank, and tubing containing gas ivas directed into the tank. For some time past deceased had been in ill health. SERIOUS INTERNAL INJURIES. AUCKLAND, Sept. 22. Roy Thompson, aged 20, received severe internal injuries with slight concussion while riding in the Kingslaiul Hurdles at Avondale. The horse General Rose fell at a fence, rolling on the jockey. Thompson is in hospital in a serious condition.
