Curran (Wellington) and Jimmy Carr (Millerton) met'as catch weights in a 15-round professional bout, which was fought keenly all the way. ' Curran in the last round got in a right which put Carr at his mercy, and the referee stopped the fight, awarding Curran the verdict. George Pringle (Millerton), 9.0, got the decision from B.
