THREE ACCIDENTS. CHILD SERIOUSLY INJURED. TWO OTHERS WITH BROKEN BONES. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) INVERCARGILL, Sept. 22. The eleven-year-old sou of A. IV. Cole was run over by a- motor-car on Saturday afternoon on the North Road and serioxisly injured. He is still unconscious in hospital. On Sunday afternoon a car driven by James Hen ton, commercial traveller, capsized at Underwood through the bursting of a, tyre. Henton was pinned under the car and was extricated bv local, residents. • He was sent to hospital suffering from a broken rib, an injured shoulder and cuts.. On Saturday a car containing five passengers capsized at Waiwera through the bursting of a O re and fell down a 30ft. bank. A. C. Perrin, a reporter, sustained a broken shoulder blade and severe cuts and bruises. The others escaped with minor injuries. The car was badly damaged.
