(From Our Own Correspondent.) ■ manaia club. A committee meeting of the Manaia Bowling Club was held on Friday ni ght. Mr J. Hickey presided. b "'as decided to officially open the Manaia green on Wednesday, October o, at 2 p.m. i , flowing new r members were elected: Messrs W. Lowery, J. E. Mard, R. L. Freeman, H. Holmes, A. Stephen son, .J. N. Horton, W. Opai, G. Cook, and Crawford Watson. A general routine of business in connection with the club was; transacted during the evening, and it was decided on account of the greens at Kaponga and Okaiawa not being available for use until later in the season to extend invitations to members of otn clubs to use the Manaia green.; '
