Sir James Craig denies that he is in anywise hampering, any peace efforts Mr MacDonald may have undertaken in the hope of settling the boundary question by consent. On the other hand, he had repeatedly declared his readiness to settle the matter by mutual agreement, but Mr Cosgrave as yet had not responded to his overtures. If any peace moves were beiim made behind the scenes he (Sir James Craig) had not been consulted. He had received no communication whatsoever from Mr MacDonald since the amending Bill had been introduced.— Reuter.
