HAWERA ACCOUNTANTS’ SOCIETY
Mr W. Wrightson presided over a well-attended meeting of the above Hawera. Accountant Students’ Society society last evening. T. S. Goldsmith, of the Bank of Aew Zealand, gave a most interestino' address on the subject of “Bills o'? Exchange.” The lecturer dealt, very fully with , the salient points of the topic, and was very instructive on the legal aspect and routine of acceptances and cheques. The .chairman announced that Mr Jno. Houston, LL.B., will deliver the next lecture on “Bills of Lading.”
