AN ENJOYABLE CONCERT. (From Our Own Correspondent.) . T *\ fel ' 6 was a very large attendance at the concert held last evening in connection with the Presbyterian h lower Show, the hall’being crowded'; A tirst-class programme was submitted. During the evening splendid. business was done by the various stalls The conceit programme consisted of the Sr Vl i lg ’ ar s d J in each ease encores were demanded; Duet, Mrs,Douglass, and Rer. J D. Hmith; vocal items, Mi J. McDowell; song, Miss m! NV hite; vocal items, Miss iLuham: i\ CV ' i d Sroith • vocal items, Mrs Douglass; vocal items, . Miss Miller; recitation and ventriloquist, Mi Forester. items were a special. feature ol the programme. At -the conclusion Mr T. A. Bridge heartily thanked the performers for the splendid programme given.- It was much appreciated by all present. He al “ thanked all the ladies for their splendid efforts in connection with" the flower show. Their good work .was much appreciated by the church committee The exhibits this year .were without doubt equal to any -previous, flower show. The blooms r shown were ex t ra special m variety and quality, and the judges had a task in allotting the various prize winners.
