AMATEUR CHAMPION SHIP
(by telegraph -press association.) AUCKLAND, Sept. 18. In the final for the New Zealand amateur billiards championship Fredratoricli defeated Roberts bv 246 points, averaging 9.3 points, the best break being 61. Roberts made a fine effort to recover the difference of 242 on the previous night’s play, and a run of 136 caused, enthusiastic applause. Other good breaks were 50 twice and 80.
