The Xo-More,-W'a r demonstration to he held in the Grand Theatre next Sunday evening is the first of its kind held in Hawera. although in former years similar demonstrations have been held in the centres and other towns of New Zealand. The movement is an international one, organised by the International Federation of" Trades Lnions. Its purpose is to demonstrate the inhumanity and futility of war. and to enlist in an anti-war movement the aid ol every person genuinely opposed to war and militarism.
