He is a rich dark brown colour, with white hind legs, and has a splendid temper; has a good head set on - a good neck and shoulders, with a good body proportionately built. He is- a very weighty horse, likely to produce the heavy cart horses so much required nowadays. He has splendid action, and is a bold straight-goer. H© is a sure foal getter; his first foals are very highly spoken of. His sire, Premier Pride, carried off the championship prizes in all South Island show rings for years, also winning many prizes for sire and four of his progeny.
