At tlie public hospital last Friday evening a capital programme of solo anil concerted vocal numbers was given by a small party of Mawera artists. The party consisted of Misses lieillv (2), G. Herbert. J. Bis.sett, K. Koclie, M. Dolan, Airs. Sunderland, Messrs. C. C. .Moss and H. Aekrovd. The programme Avas heartily appreciated by the patients and nurses, and at the conclusion light refreshments were served and a hearty vote of thanks passed to the performers for their thoughtful kindness.
