In the House of Representatives the Hon.. J. A. Hanan (Invercargill) asked Mr. Massey whether it was the intention of the' Government to introduce a Loan Bill this session, and, if so, what would be the amount of the proposed loan and when it would be placed on the market? “There will be a loan Bill,” said Mr. Massey iii reply. “The amount will be in' accordance with the requirements of the country. It is expected the loan will be floated in London in April or May next.” Mr. Hanan: Can you state the amount?
