Burglars who forced a window and entered Englemere, the Ascot- home of Countess Roberts, recently, took only a sword presented to the late Lord Roberts by Eton College, after his victorious Afghan campaign, and a few silver trinkets. They afterwards threw the sword away, and it was found in a shrubbery about 500 yards ’ from the house. The house had been let to a lady, who had just moved in, but a quantity' of her plate had already been sent dow'n. Lady Roberts in the meantime is living at a cottage on the estate, and only the servants were in the house when the burglars entered. THEY DO MORE.
