SIMPLE, INEXPENSIVE AND EFFECTIVE METHOD. The above sketch shows a, simple, inexpensive and effective method, of pulling out old fence posts. Join two plough chains together and fasten one end to the butt of the post and the other to a swingletree to which is attached a steady horse. Place a strong forked stick tinder the chain, with a lean'towards the post. The horse moves forward, and in a twinkling the post will be lying on the ground. (
