COMMONWEALTH LOAN. BY CABLE-PEEBS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received Sept. 6, 11.5 a.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 6. The new Commonwealth loan is being raised for the States for public works purposes. Each State undertakes to repay to the Commonwealth annually 10s per cent, of its loan towards the national debt sinking fund and to redemption.

The Commonwealth Court reserved its decision in the case Mcllwraith and McEachern versus the Union Company.
