Extra choice ox 33s per 1001 b, choice and prime 28s to 325, ordinary and plain 23s to 275, prime young cow and heifer 27s to 28s, _ ordinary cow 21s to 245, rough beef 15s to 20s; heavy prime steers £l2 10s to £l4 10s, medium £lO 10s to £l2 15s, light,£B to £lO ss, unfinished and small £6 to £7 17s 6d, extra‘heavy prime young cows and heifers £8 to £9 2s 6d, heavy £7 to £7 17s 6d, lighter £6 to £6 17s 6d, other cows £2 10s to £4 15s.

Calves.—Large numbers.* Prices firm at late quotations. Runners 70s to 101 s, heavy vealers 55s to 675, medium 38s to 525, light 22s to 365, smaller calves 12s to 20s, small and. fresh dropped 3s to 10s, rough 15s to 235. Sheep.—Average numbers at late quotations.
