GOOD WHEAT PROSPECTS.' BY CABLE—PREBB ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received Sept. 5, 9.25 a.m. . SYDNEY, Sept. 5. The chairman of the voluntary wheat pool, after touring the wheat areas, says the prospects for a good yield are very bright if rain, falls within the next few weeks. Probably the New South Wales harvest will yield fifty million bushels.
AN AWARD REJECTED. MELBOURNE. Sept. 5. The ballot of the Federated Enginedrivers and Firemen’s Association on the question of acceptance of the award recently made by Mr. Justice Quick resulted in 1307 against and 111 in fajMur of the award.
