ACCOUNTANT STUDENTS.

A large number of members of the above society and representatives of the legal 'and banking Interests gathered in the Borough Council Chambers last evening. Mr W. Wrightson occupied the chair. A lecture of great interest was given by Mr F. C. Spratt, LL.B., the subject being “Guarantees.” The lecturer dealt very ably with the various phases of the topic. A very good discussion ensued, and various questions were fully answered by Mr Spratt, The meetings are arousing a great deal of interest amongst those "’concerned. and a great deal of useful informations is being brought out. The chairman announced that the subject to be dealt with in two weeks’ time will he “Bills of exchange.”
