One© again McGruer, Bone’s have demonstrated that they are amoim the leading drapery establishments, “and their promenade last ei'ening amply proved it. On wandering through the various departments on© was impressed ».V the dainty, stylish, and attractive goods that Avere artistically arranged. Special mention must l>e made of “the new colourings and smart hosiery. The nanshnn silks and the exquisite floral voiles, also the artificial silk fabrics, the damask table and the new sliadoAv tissue Avere admired. In the showroom too model frocks, the stylish mill inerv. and the smart jumpers caused exclamations of delight. The hoys’ and men’s section also came in for favourable comment. As usual, their window display was nil that could be desired. The wmdoAv shoAving the new broAvn tones was particularly worthy of note, while the millinery Avindow showed the models off to best adA'antage. The musical items added greatly to the success of the evening,
