SEVERAL ASCENTS TO SUMMIT. During the last few • weeks several parties, one including two ladies, have been successful in making the winter trip to the summit. Mr. Turner made a.n unusual climb ten days ago. Leaving the house at 1 p.m. intending to go to Fantham’s Peak, iie continued and reached the summit and returned to the house. between six and seven o’clock. Mr. H. G. Brodie and party climbed two weeks ago and had a great time. All report the mountain in good order for climbing, a-iid the views secured magnificent.
