DAIRY FEDERATION.
MOVEMENT TO COVER TARANAKI
At the close of yesterday’s meeting of dairy company directors at Hawera the chairman (Mr. T. A. Winks), who is also chairman of the Federation of Factories, said that the federation movement had been taken up enthusiastically in South Taranaki, but as- they had no desire to be parochial they wished it to be known that all co-operative dairy companies in Taranaki were eligible' for inclusion in the membership. The federation proposed to take up a good many things that were of direct benefit to the dairying industry, and the subscription was only 2 guineas for factoris up to 500 tons output and 4 guineas for factories with an output of over that amount.
