MOTOR VEHICLES BILL.
APPROVED IN DUNEDIN. (BY - TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) DUNEDIN, August 30. The provisions of the .Motor Vehicles Bill were generally approved at the quarterly meeting of the South Island Motor Union. One amendment agreed on was that both the registration and issuing of licenses should l>e. in the hands of the police. At a later meeting c,f the union with the City Council Mr Ansell, president of the union, adduced figures showing that the Bill did not prejudice the municipality’s revenue.
