(Received Aug. 30, 9.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, Aug. 30. The Murray river in the Albury district continues to rise slowly, and has reached the highest point since the 1917 flood. The police were kept busy rescuing residents who were cut off by the flood waters. Parts of several streets in Albury are now under -water. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
