Viviani, owing to the latter’s illness), M. Bontour (a Socialist, vice M. Hanotaux). M. Loucheur was appointed assistant delegate. THE TUCKERMAN CRIME. MELBOURNE, Aug. 30. The boy detained yesterday in connection with the Tuckerman case, in which a little girl was outraged and murdered, was released. An elderly man previously detained and released was again detained on the strength of further statements secured by the police. A TOUCHING SCENE. LONDON. Aug. 28. When, the verdict was announced in the King case of alleged matricide, the father burst into tears and embraced the accused. They left the Court together, amidst the cheers of a tremendous crowd.
