INSURANCE SCHEME.
ANNOUNCEMENT BY RAILWAY COMPANY. Si CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received Aug. 27, 9.45 a.m. NEW YORK, Aug. 26. The Northern Pacific Railway Co. announced that it had insured 25,000 employees for fifty million dollars in the Altna Company. Every employee who had completed a probationary period would be insured for an amount to be payable at death, and the premium is to be wholly paid by the company. The employees would also be permitted to insure additionally or jointly with the company. The insurance is payable immediately if an employee is disabled permanently before sixty.—Reuter.
