The coin petitions festival, which concludes with this evening’s perfomnance. has been highly successful. The programmes have been well arranged, with plenty of variety, and fine weather has favoured the attendances. The classes to-day have been of a uniformly high standard, and the- recalls from these, together with, the special sections set down for this evening, should attract a large audience. The latest form ot sneak thievery should he a warning to motorists who have complied with the demands for Hutt Road fees. A local motorist (says the Rost) left her car for a few minutes outside the Central Library. When she returned she found that some mean thief had removed the red disc from the wind-shield. Motorists should see to it that the “stickers” are securely fastened.
