In connection with the Moiiat tragedy, the clothes of the dead hoy were found in the boiler house at the Sandown Racecourse, half a. mile from the spot where the body was found. It is believed that the body wa.s mutilated previous to death, and that the boy was drowned. The police are hampered in their investigations owing to- the site of the tragedy being inundated to a. depth of .six feet through heavy rains since.
A curious feature is that the site whore the body was found and also the boiler house, were examined on Sunday. Searchers are positive that neither the body nor the clothes wclre there then. —Aus.-N.Z. Gable Assn.
