Received Aug. 26, 11.45 a.m. . BERLIN, Aug. 25. The Reichstag has begun the debate on the London pact. Deputy Hergt, on behalf o.f the. German National Party. decla7’ed that the party disapproved of the pact, and would therefore oppose all Bills connected therewith.—Reuter.’
Received Aug. 26, 12.5 p.m. BERLIN, Aug. 25. Herr Hergt, Nationalist leader in the Reichstag, intimated that he was regretfully compelled to submit a noconfidence motion on the grounds of the unsatisfactory Ruhr position with the London pact, which the Nationalists wholly distrusted. Herr Hergt declared: ‘‘We are not an American digger colony, but a kulture nation entitled to live.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
