Production was not hampered by power shortage as m the two preceding vears. Ample hydro-electric energy is now available and other powers will he harnessed this year on the Ouinse and Ahilihi rivers to meet expanding needs. Production of silver for the quarter shows a decline from the 1923 figures, explained in part by the absence of shipments from Cowganda. where work at the Miller Lain- O'Brien was concentrated on development, and at the Castle ~n mill construction.
