The Daily Telegraph’s political observer says he is informed that two great German shipbuilding firms, Blohmvos and Vulkan Stettin, are negotiating with the Free State Ministry of Commerce for the formation of an Irish-German company to be established at Queenstown as a competitor with Belfast.
