SOUTH AFRICANS IN ENGLAND. GAME AGAINST MINOR COUNTIES. BT CABLE —PRESS ASSOCIATION-COPYRIGHT LONDON, Aug. 20. The South Africans are playing a team representing the minor counties, which includes Chapman, Titchmarsh, and three Cambridge “blues.” The wicket was good and fast. Minor Counties in the first innings made 196, Coldham and Pedder adding- 51 for the eighth wicket and Coldham scoring 40. The South Africans made a bad start, losing Commaille, Hearne and Blanckenberg for 19. Nourse ’made 64, the score when stumps were drawn being 193 for nine wickets. Meintjes took four wickets for 104.
