MEXICAN BANDITS
TRAIN LOOTED. PASSENGERS MURDERED. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT (Received Aug. IS, 9.45 a.m.) MEXICO CITY, Aug. 17. Hundreds of bandits placed an obstruction on the track of the Vera Cruz train near San Salvador. Twentyfive passengers were killed by rifle fire and their bodies robbed. The train was completely looted and partially burned.—Sydney Sun Cables.
