The totalisator investments were £59,058 10s, making £155,100 10s for the meeting, compared with £160,295 last year. Results Midwinter Handicap (saddle), one mile and five furlongs.—Money Spider (McLennan) 1, Rose Peters 2, Marvin Drift 3. Also started: Major Domo, Rapid Wind, Freeman, Burnie, Greywood, Grattan Chimes, Queen Ida, Mushroom, Wonder Why, Pieter Timmerman, Arran Lad, Merry Bingen. "Won by four lengths, with twenty lengths between second and third. Time, 3.53 3-5. Lightning Handicap (saddle), one mile. —Downcast (A. McLennan) and Prince' Derby (B. Jarden), dead heat, 1, Coil 3.
