FOR AUSTRALIAN TRADE: BT CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT LONDON, Aug. 14. Viscountess Novar. launched at Clydebank the second Orient 20,000-ton liner, the Oronsay. At a luncheon following Sir Charles Ellis (managing director of Messrs John- Brown and Co.) said the company was proud of its association with the Orient Companv in producing the most perfect type of vessel. She has been designed for the Australian trade.

Sir Kenneth Anderson (manager of the Orient Company) claimed that the Orient Company, by adding three steamers to the trade, had given proof of its faith in Australia.
