Miss Betty Cowan, who has been on the staff of Harrons, Ltd., for some considerable time, left Haw-era- by the express tor the South this- morning, and on Medonsday she joins the Corinthie for England, where shg intends to revisit her people after an absence of four years. Miss Cowan was a very popular .member of the sta-ff at the Economic, and hatl many friends in the town, evidence ef this being afforded by • the large number at the railway station to wish her farewell and a pleasant voyage.
