SUICIDE BY WOMAN. (by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) INVERCARGILL, Aug. 14. Margaret Boone, a married woman, aged 48 was found dead in a bath of water with a cord tied round her throat at 6 p.m. to-day by her husband on his return home. The deceased had been in indifferent health for the last two years. BOYS INJURED BY CAR. CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 14. A three-seater motor car was being driven through Waipara at 12.30 p.m. to-day by James Davis, of Nelson, when a boy riding a cycle crossed suddenly on to the wrong side of the road. The motorist swerved to avoid him, and knocked down four schoolboys who were standing on the side of the road. As a result Archibald McPherson is in the Christchurch Hospital suffering from severe scalp wounds, and James An til I is in the Waikari Hospital with a bad wound on the leg. The others received minor injuries, for which they were treated.
