PLUNKET SOCIETY. (From Our Own Correspondent). The monthly meeting of the Manaia J lunket Society was held on Tuesday. I resent: Mesdames Gamlin, Judd, loung, Sutherland, Poynter and Hobday. Apologies were received from. Mesdames Christie, Craig, and Smith. Subscriptions were received from Mesdames Hobday, Parkinson, Cruickshank and Butler.

Mrs 1. Sutherland was appointed delegate to the annual conference l It was decided not to hold the annual fete day this year, hut to have a couple of stalls in Manaia for the P Junket Society benefit at a date to be fixed later on. The nurse’s report gave the following information Cases on the books, mothers and babies 68, new cases 13, visits to offices 154, nurse’s visits to homes 34'.
