A. C. J. WELSH SENTENCED. (by TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Atfg. 14. At the Police Court this morning Alexander Clifford James Welsh was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment on a charge of being an idle and disorderly person, with insufficient visible lawful means cf support Defendant, under the name "of be La Seacord, had passed as a civil engineer and special correspondent of the Sydney Daily’ Telegraoh sent to write up the oilfield. He was also fined £1 on each of two charges of offences against the Arms Act, and sentenced to two months on each cf two charges of theft.
