Special attention is directed to a sale of dairy cows which is being conducted by the Farmers’ Co-op. at their Hawera salevards on Tuesday next, the 19th inst. Tills is about the last sale of any consequence of genuine dairy cows to be held this season, and those who require a few cows to fill up their herds should make a point of being present.. This herd is oft the hilly country at Tututawa, and have produced about 2301 b. butter-fat per head, which is equivalent to over 3003 b. on the open country. Full particulars appear in this issue. R.
