COLLISION CASE.

At the Stratford Magistrate’s Court yesterday, before Mr A. M. Mowlem, S.M., the hearing of the case William Curd against the Stratford County Council, a claim for £2OO for damages allegedly caused by a council lorry colliding with plaintiff’s lorry, -was continued. Evidence was given for the defence, that Curd had rounded the bend on the junction of the Ohura and the Gordon road on his incorrect side. r l he council lorry driver, seeing him on the wrong side of the road, considered that he would remain on the wrong side, and therefore turned to his wrong side of the road, where the accident occurred, plaintiff, he alleged, having come over to his correct side from the wrong side. This the plaintiff and his ■witnesses denied, stating that at no time had they been on the incorrect side of the road. The case was not finished, and was further adjourned. At the hearing Mr P. O’Dea (with him Mr .N. H. Moss) appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr A. Coleman for the defendant county.
