ADVOCATED BY CANADIANS. EY CABLE--PBESS ASSOCIATION—COPYBIGHT OTTAWA, Aug. 10. A telegram from Toronto says that P. J. Mulqueen, a member of the Canadian Olympic Committee, lias returned from France. He- says far better results and certainly more satisfaction would be gained if, instead of spending large sums on Olympic Games, we concentrated on the British Empire games proposition. The idea- would be to stage games in various parts of the Empire open to all British subjects. He says never in all the history of sport have there been such disgraceful scenes as he witnessed during the boxing tournament at Paris.
