The euchre party and dance held in the Manaia Town Hall last evening in aid of the Manaia town queen, was a great success. The winners of the ladies’ prizes were Mesdames Long and W. T. Wells, and the gentlemen’s prizes were won bv Messrs Hannah and Landers. The trophies were valued at £3. The music for the dancing was provided by Miss Long. It was decided to have a Paddy’s Market at Manaia on Saturday, and on August 29 a hnrdun social is to be held.
